On behalf of the Board of Directors for the Rosebud Health Foundation, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years. Yourcontributions have helped secure and improve the availability of health services for yourself and your neighbours throughout Mountain View County.

On April 20, we held our major fundraising event of the year, the Rosebud Spring Fling. And thanks to all of you, it was a rousing success! Our “Roaring 20’s” theme was well received, with many in attendance dressed in their best Prohibition-Era costumes. The food was great and Duelling Pianos put on a fantastic show. With the support of local businesses and donors like you, the Foundation was able to raise over $21,000! Plans are already in the works for next year’s event, and we hope to make it the biggest and best one yet.

Funds raised at this event, and donations received throughout the year, will go toward purchasing equipment and supporting health programs at Didsbury Hospital and the communities it serves. Recent purchases include new Vital Signs monitors for the Emergency Department, equipment for the new anti-bedsore mattresses in Acute Care and supplies to help set up the new Public and Mental Health building opening in Didsbury.

Many of the recent renovations or upgrades that you see in Didsbury Hospital, including the renovations in the Emergency Department, the Security Station, and the Main Entrance upgrades, were funded in whole or in part by the Foundation. All of this is made possible by the support of our donors.
