Stryker Stretchers
The current stretchers in the ER were quite dated and not fully functional. They were manually operated and no longer moved smoothly, causing discomfort for patients. Additionally, the mattresses on the old stretchers are worn and thin, also contributing to patient discomfort. Furthermore, they were difficult to move and steer, potentially causing injuries to the staff.
The RBHF has purchased three new stretchers with embedded patient safety features, comfortable mattresses, and ergonomic design for the staff and patients. The cost was $35,517.00.
